The Lunar New Year is approaching, and many festive foods are deep-fried, high-calorie mixtures of oil and sugar. Mothers, especially those in their postpartum period or breastfeeding, need to be extra careful.

Even with nuts, it's important to learn how to choose wisely. Ms. Lo would like to share her thoughts on this, wishing all mothers a healthy and happy New Year.
